The end of the year was a busy one for the Nevada Alpha Angels. Between Founders Day, finals, senior goodbyes, philanthropy events, and planning for amazing summers we had a busy couple of weeks! Here are some pictures to see what the Pi Phi ladies were up to:
Founders Day: We had an amazing founders day this year held at Roundabout Catering. It was great to see so many alumni coming back to support out chapter. Scholarships were voted on and awarded to the special ladies by the alumni committee.
Dodge the Arrow: Dodgeball tournament held at a local park. Teams of six were welcome to sign up and compete! Participants also had to opportunity to "Pie-a-Pi_Phi" for one dollar.
Unfortunatley, the end of the year also means saying good bye to the seniors. All of the seniors this year were amazing and such a big influence on our house. They will all accomplish amazing things and make Pi Beta Phi proud. We love you guys!

God Bless America!
The ladies at Nevada Alpha have had an exciting month filled with great events, sisterhoods, spring break, an LDC Visitor and we just finished Greek Week!
On March 13th our lovely exec. planned all the sisters a Pinterest Crafting sisterhood. We all got together at the house, made signed for our rooms, and enjoyed lovely Pinterest inspired crafts.
The next week was the University of Nevada's spring break! Many of the girls took trips together to the beach, on cruises, and all over the West Coast.
Our first weekend back to school we had LDC Kasey come visit us al the way from Mississippi. She has been travelling all over the country to visit different chapters. We had a great time with Kasey and she really gave our chapter great advice. Wee all hope to see her again soon!
This past week we just celebrated Greek Week! The theme was America and the entire chapter really helped out with the events. Paired with the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon we competed in two events; a banner competition and the Greek Sing lip sync. Our amazing banner reiceved second place in the competition. The lip sync number won first place meaning Pi Beta Phi and Sigma Phi Epsilon won Greek Week! Everyone had a blast working on the events and meeting new people. Congratulations to all who participated.
This month look forward to:

100 Years of Literacy
One hundred years ago today, February 20, 1912, was a very special day in the Greek-letter world. The Pi Beta Phi Settlement School opened in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Pi Beta Phi became the first women’s fraternity to have its own philanthropy. To read more about the women behind the Settlement School, read Fran Becque's latest blog entry:http://wp.me/p1CHDg-62
